Withdrawal Policy

1. General Policy

Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscript after submission must submit a formal request to the editorial office via email. Withdrawal requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the stage of the review process.

2. Withdrawal Before Peer Review

If the withdrawal request is made before the manuscript has entered the peer review process, it will typically be granted without any penalties.

3. Withdrawal During Peer Review

If the manuscript is under review, authors must provide a compelling reason for withdrawal. The editorial team will evaluate the reason and inform the author of the decision. If the withdrawal is approved, the authors will receive confirmation via email.

4. Withdrawal After Acceptance

Withdrawal requests after a manuscript has been accepted for publication are generally discouraged. Such requests will be subject to strict scrutiny, and authors must provide a valid reason. The editorial board reserves the right to deny the request if the reasons are deemed insufficient.

5. Penalties and Fees

If a manuscript is withdrawn after it has entered the review process or after acceptance, the journal reserves the right to impose a withdrawal fee. The fee is intended to cover the costs associated with the review process and editorial work already performed.

6. Author Responsibilities

  • The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors agree to the withdrawal before submitting the request.
  • Any withdrawal request must include the manuscript ID, title, and the reason for withdrawal.

7. Communication

All withdrawal requests must be sent to [email address] with the subject line "Withdrawal Request: [Manuscript ID]". The journal will acknowledge receipt of the request within [time frame] and provide a decision within [time frame].

8. Re-submission

Authors who have withdrawn a manuscript may re-submit the work to the same journal or another journal, provided that the reasons for withdrawal do not reflect negatively on the integrity of the research or the authors.

9. Publisher's Rights

The journal reserves the right to retract the manuscript if it is found to violate ethical guidelines, even after withdrawal.
